For the concert, The Seckford Ensemble will provide a light-hearted concert based around the development of the brass family from baroque to today. The concert will last for approximately one hour and will showcase each instrument of the ensemble, plus a few instruments the pupils may not be familiar with.
During the workshop, The Seckford Ensemble will work with brass players from the school to help develop their skills; players of all abilities can be involved. On request, a piece can also be arranged for the pupils to rehearse and play alongside The Seckford Ensemble. To get the best experience from the workshop we ask that you let us know the standard of pupils who will be involved three weeks prior to the event.
